Something you know how to do quite well, you are clear about how to do, what you need, how long it takes, what your result will be and when you’ve finished you will have a tremendous feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment.
Imagine the feeling of lightness and happiness you have as you are getting ready to do this special activity. You’ve likely carved out some dedicated time to do this and you are so looking forward to it.
Now imagine yourself moving through the motions and taking the necessary actions to get to your end result. You know just what to do as well as what not to do to get the result you are looking for.
Then here you are with your finished product just the way you wanted.
It feels good. You are happy with yourself and with the time you spent. You have a sense of calm and fulfillment.
And because this activity is aligned with the authentic you.
You feel energized and peaceful.
There were no false starts, no wrong paths, or stress or confusion. Just enjoyment.
Feels pretty darn good, doesn’t it?
Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could have more time like this each and every day?
While it’s unlikely you will be able to spend all day everyday only engaging in these types of pure joy activities, you can get more happiness and fulfillment by focusing on a simple two step process you can deploy at any point in any day regardless of what you are working on.
This process will allow you to filter out any unnecessary noise or information you don’t need and then allow you to only see the steps that are necessary to take. Saving you from the overwhelm, frustration, exhaustion and stress that comes from lack of clarity, lack of focus and being stuck in that seemingly endless state of busy being busy.
This two step process is something that has become a bit of a philosophy for me and my wife and we deploy it on a daily basis in all we do.
It’s called Pure Thought Leads to Pure Action and I want you to leverage it too.

You waste time doing unnecessary work, going down the wrong path and wasting precious energy. This leaves you feeling frustrated, defeated constantly feeling like you are taking one step forward and two steps back.
